It's also likely that general purpose computing hardware will essentially merge with specialized hardware platforms. I would predict that both PC and console gaming will eventually be superseded by mobile gaming and set top boxes like Google TV or whatever. It's actually based on series of (non-H) visual novels. The basic premise is that the main character is a kid from Tokyo, who has moved to a tiny villiage in rural Japan. Everything seems to be going well for him until he starts to learn about a grisly series of murders that has occurred in the town coinciding with the town's big festival, scheduled to take place in a few days. His friends begin to grow increasingly threatening and erratic; as you can probably guess given that it's a horror series at heart, things don't end well. After the somewhat-messy denouement, time rewinds to a few days before the festival again. Events repeat themselves, unfolding a little differently the second time around- a different character takes the place as the apparent villain and things transpire differently. I'm probably not describing it that well. To be honest, it was a series I really didn't expect to like until a friend coaxed me into watching the first handful of episodes... After that, though, I was hooked, and I ended up really getting into the series.
