more than one aquarium
After two years of development, Aquaria is out. Is it better than Sketchy, my own aborted attempt at making an indie “Metroidvania”? Absolutely. Is it the best indie game to come out of the U.S.? Most likely. Is it better than Cave Story? Probably. Is it worth $30? Download the demo and decide for yourself.

Its pretty cool, its got great production values. From what I played in the demo it seem quite fun. I think the fact that you never see the surface of the ocean kinda bugs me, and also there aren’t really any huge open spaces… hmm I keep comparing it to Ecco the Dolphin in terms of level design… Cool game though I’d like to buy it when I have 30 bucks to spare.
