Sure, we could place the blame on inferior 3D hardware, a lackluster library of games, or being rushed to market before the rest of its generation of consoles, but the real reason for the Sega Saturn’s failure in the U.S. was the absence of Segata Sanshiro. A parody of a Japanese judo movie from the 60’s, Segata Sanshiro appeared in numerous Saturn ads, roaming the streets and indiscriminately pummeling anyone doing anything besides sitting at home and playing with their Sega Saturn. Dancing, baseball, anything. Sadly, not all of the Segata Sanshiro ads are available on the site, but there are enough to convey the wonderful feeling of the whole campaign.
Geez, why doesn’t America have more ads about adult men beating children senseless for going outside to play instead of staying in and playing video games? The first person to take that question seriously and try to answer it will receive a personal pummeling from Segata Sanshiro, or a reasonable facsimile.

any ways.
ive read the log about the panty game. to be honset, i am embarassed not because of the game, but from the stupid comments posted from few of the asians.
it seems to be that NKs utterly racist comment was posted on the 2ch message board, which wasnt taken as a racist joke and this caused the minority of the so called VIPPERS to post blunt comments to your blog. then somehow, the ‘COREANS’ sniffed the ‘attack’ and started posting few more stupid racist comments towards the japanese spoiling your blog.
anyways, im aware that this is not be place to apologise and i understand that it does not do anything even if i apologise, but let me give the master of Inverted Castle a word of apologie representing all of 2ch and asians.
what ever the reason was, there is no doubt that it was us japanese and coreans that has spoiled the fun of the people visiting this blog. I believe that the post about the kinky computer game should have been taken only for fun and was not inteded to cause any racial collision.
here, i pitty the foolish act taken place. representing all of eastasia i must apologise to all people visiting this blog, the master, and for the majority of the intellectual asians embarassed by the act of these foolish minorities that lacked moral.

Thanks for the comment. Actually, I’m happy for the “2ch invasion”, since a lot of it was positive, almost all the negative stuff had too much kanji for me to understand anyway, and it made a LOT more people aware of Inverted Castle, which is always a good thing. It’s like they say: there’s no such thing as bad press.
